Roots & Burgers serves steaming Bao Buns, flaming burgers with an Asian twist and Root vegetable-based sides. The restaurant focuses on quality of product; working with local farmers, sourcing only chemical free & organic local vegetables where possible.... promoting sustainable practices and creating a healthier indulgence.
Hormone & antibiotic free pork & chicken are sourced locally in Cambodia, whilst we import the best quality beef & duck from abroad.
No preservatives, MSG or trans fats.
All brilliantly matched with our house cocktails. Try favourites such as the Bao Swizzle and the Sweet Potato Old Fashioned.
We keep the skins on most of the vegetables to retain all their goodness. We offer a variety of Low GI vegetables and potatoes along with the classic white potato fries. Homemade seasonings and dips on offer.
We use peanut oil for frying because it can sustain higher cooking temperatures and contains little to no bad fats (trans and saturated), but lots of good fats (monounsaturated and polyunsaturated).
And since we all like a treat in life, our dessert menu offers some of the tastiest treats in town.
